Tickets, Potlucks, April's Fools

Whoa, here is another photo overload to help you with the first person narrative of this past weekend and then some. okay, let's start with....

Mitchell's Ice Cream. Halo Halo so tasty. And that's all I got to say about that
Malibu on Sunday Night thanks to Caesar Chavez. Thought that it closed at midnight so we were all really excited to do unlimited laps with the adult go-karts but it closed at 9, dang. Oh well, we made up for that with allll theeeese tiiiccckkkkeettttts.

It's monday, potluck that I was not notified of because I took thursday and friday off. Well I guess that just means I cant bring any food in but I sure can eat the food that's there.

Highs: the lumpia was perfect
Lows: the deviled eggs, too strong for me
So, today was April 1st also known as April Fool's Day. Let's see who is April's fools. Somebody was smart enough to lock the door from the outside during lunch time so we thought, if we can't get in, they can't get out. We then laughed as people were pretty pissed
Prank 2: so this girl, I wouldn't say she's our friend so much but an acquaintance for sure, she has this type of lock
really though it was kind of ridiculous. People started to gather around, and lunch wasn't even over yet. What seemed like an innocent april fool's joke turned out to be some kind of big thing.
Girl 1: "ah, who did this to you, that's shady, Imma figure this (w)itch out!"




Girl 2: "wait... what is this? what can be drowned? there's a hint, it looks like fire... oh man, what is it"
Girl 1:"look the hint is fire! but what is it? (the lock combo is fire with an o and at this point me, alex, and toby cannot contain the laughter anymore)
Girl 2: "what can it be? how about a mouse"
Girl 1: "nah, nah, it has to be four letters"
Chris: -trying to humor them- "maybe mice? that's four letters"
Girl 2: "oh oh, try that!"
Alex: -snickers-
Guy/Girl 1: "ahhh shoot, lemme try -struggles with lock and unlocks it- oh oh oh, look at me! ahhh shoot, I unlocked it!
Chris: "uh... thanks, heh"

okay, I'm not that good at putting events into text but I tried, I read it and it doesnt sound as funny

that's pretty much my day though, at least I know that the Gateway kids are always there to help someone else out in need, right?
