Lunchtime Lunacies

HAH! I finally thought up a somewhat catchy title for a blog post. Well, I hope I serve the title justice. Brought the car today because Sean wanted to splurge on his materialistic wants, two Huf hats and another pair of denim.

He told me he wants me to document his spendings so that other people can be in awe and say, quoting him "Oh ^&(* you spend sooo much money" (^&(* = Sean)

Well, let's see the Huf hats came out to about 105 dollars and some change. We went to the Hayes' Huf which isn't frequented as often and is quite a pleasant break from the busy-ness of the Sutter store. Well, the hats looked something like this
and tell me why homie sean pulls out two 100 dollar bills, mmhmm, ballin' and he's only in high school.

Then we stop by Azaleas and by this time I realize that somewhat of an adventure is taking place so I begin to take my own pictures
and inside it smelled SOOOOO good. a potpourri of fragrances and then some. It looks like these products were the only ones for men, I sniffed some shaving cream/gel tester and then realized after settting it down that it was for a woman's leg *-__-. But really though, that place smelled so wonderful... like a beautiful woman
I sat around as Sean was trying to find the perfect pair of jeans and took a few pictures here and there... the employees' bikes
yea, and that was about it, then I tried to multitask while driving and taking pictures of Sean like this.
So essentially, he spent:
Two Huf Hats: ~$105
pair of APC's: ~$160
yea, that's a lot of money

Then Sean had to get back to class so I finished the chauffeur/taxi bizzzness and got my tip and strolled off to Alex Fung's house. We decided to skip E block of Civics because we weren't about to do anything anyways and we have free D and F blocks so we took about a 3 hour lunch. This is how it went down

Alex gets into car: -smells the azalea smell- "so uh... did you switch colognes or something? you smell like my friend I just dont know which one" and that leads me to the question "Alex Fung sniffs his friends!?"

19th and irving pho. Got rice plates and a taro tappy

Stonestown: to stroll back to yesteryear when the mall was where I stayed at

School: to loiter for about 20 more minutes and then off to G block

yea though, the weather got really foggy at the end of the day, time to north face it up

Fun Fact: Pharell and Lupe and Kanye were suppose to perform together for the glow in the dark tour according to a lupe article found here. they better not for the whole tour or else

"We don't know if there's going to be an album from CRS, what CRS are going to be," he said. "All we know is we're going to debut a piece of CRS on the Kanye tour. You have to come see it." ...
- Lupe Fiasco

yea... except that he didn't come through

I'm not that good with titles

But... here are some recent pictures real quick from the iPhone.

Driving around sutro tower area and found this, so what do I do? what any other vain person would do, get out of the car and take a picture of it simply because it is my name. ^__^

Then got a workout walking up these stairs, ridiculous, ridiculously gorgeous.
Passed by the Legion of Honor and they were having something so I had to stop by, yea... it was NOT free

but I did go to the De Young Museum for some closed party with nicely dressed tall white people. Didn't kick Toby, Alex or me out until later, and of course they loved our wit and charm but that is another story for another post

and finally found time to visit the Hundreds store but it is toooo dark to see anything inside, had to let the eyes adjust

iPhone is kind of broke right now -sigh-.
Lost my contacts somewhere in my room so my eyes are slowly dying.
My car is a trooper, the way I drive it.
I jiggle a bit more.

So uh. hmm. Went to self edge today to get a pair of jeans. Nudies are 25% off so I picked these up during lunch and definitely did not get back on time to civics.

ha, organic cotton, my only contribution to the environment.

It's okay though, Sean treated me to Tommy's Joynt and I had a really nice meaty sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes.

Hmm, so USC had The Hundreds drop by yesterday to give a little presentation and of course I had Jeriel "Helmet" Ong to stop by and pick this up for me

mmhmm, that is pretty huge, hundreds is huge? this isn't to stop my other sticker collection full of in-n-out stickers

I had more but they spell out SENIOR and part of a S on the Gateway front door. Our hooliganry was cut short by Mr Fuller as we were fulfilling our duty as High School Senior Prankster Amateurs.

Tear Away... Fitted!?

So some of you might remember these particular vandals
and for those of you who don't, basically the shoe comes with a layer of material that you can actually rip or destroy however you please and it has another design hidden underneath leading to endless ways to personalize your own tear-away nike vandals

well, check it, someone came out with a tear-away fitted. Concept is pretty cool

but watermelon on your head? I guess

Good Life

Kanye West, ooooohweeeeee. Concert was crazy. I can't stop thinking about it, it's ridiculous. During the concert, Samuel and I head to the restroom after Rihanna's set and people start RUNNING. Is it Lupe? Kanye? We run after the crowd and think it's Kanye, we see a glimpse of him and we ask each other

"Kanye didn't have the decency to shave for the concert?"

"Oh, wait, that's Baron Davis!"

Baron Davis is a fan too, I almost touched the man! Really I did except he had his whole entourage with him and one of them would definitely put me in much pain if I tried to make any move.

As far as the concert, it was amazing, I got this tshirt
Kanye does a gooooood show. I'll upload the video later

just kidding, here it is now in its full low quality glory:

I feel like happy

More news. I did not even tell you I visited UCSC on Monday with Gary. Wow, the campus is pretty majestic. It's like waking up at camp every day, like really nice. Then of course there is the one campus full of barefoot hippies, kresge? eh, I think I'm gonna like it.
The only picture I have of UCSC for now is this rug:

I mean, I already have a Gateway rug, why not add this to the collection

Yahoo Brought This To My Attention

Exciting Article With Much Truth

"It is often said you can tell a lot about a person by the shoes they wear, and now we have some hard data to back that up," Arvonio told Reuters."

and I say Amen to that

and for Winchell:

Hybrid car owners were found to be 78 percent more likely to be highly creative than other people and less dogmatic.

Homecoming

So Kanye got a new video for his new single "homecoming"

The video is alright, Chris Martin is doing some weird dancing movements but the black and white is a nice touch. But honestly, I like the older version of this song better simply titled "Home" with John Legend. more... soulful.

Listen Here

Tickets, Potlucks, April's Fools

Whoa, here is another photo overload to help you with the first person narrative of this past weekend and then some. okay, let's start with....

Mitchell's Ice Cream. Halo Halo so tasty. And that's all I got to say about that
Malibu on Sunday Night thanks to Caesar Chavez. Thought that it closed at midnight so we were all really excited to do unlimited laps with the adult go-karts but it closed at 9, dang. Oh well, we made up for that with allll theeeese tiiiccckkkkeettttts.
basically you drop the ball into the hole. wow, simple
....toooo simple
It's monday, potluck that I was not notified of because I took thursday and friday off. Well I guess that just means I cant bring any food in but I sure can eat the food that's there.

Highs: the lumpia was perfect
Lows: the deviled eggs, too strong for me
So, today was April 1st also known as April Fool's Day. Let's see who is April's fools. Somebody was smart enough to lock the door from the outside during lunch time so we thought, if we can't get in, they can't get out. We then laughed as people were pretty pissed
Prank 2: so this girl, I wouldn't say she's our friend so much but an acquaintance for sure, she has this type of lock
really though it was kind of ridiculous. People started to gather around, and lunch wasn't even over yet. What seemed like an innocent april fool's joke turned out to be some kind of big thing.
Girl 1: "ah, who did this to you, that's shady, Imma figure this (w)itch out!"

Girl 2: "wait... what is this? what can be drowned? there's a hint, it looks like fire... oh man, what is it"
Girl 1:"look the hint is fire! but what is it? (the lock combo is fire with an o and at this point me, alex, and toby cannot contain the laughter anymore)
Girl 2: "what can it be? how about a mouse"
Girl 1: "nah, nah, it has to be four letters"
Chris: -trying to humor them- "maybe mice? that's four letters"
Girl 2: "oh oh, try that!"
Alex: -snickers-
Guy/Girl 1: "ahhh shoot, lemme try -struggles with lock and unlocks it- oh oh oh, look at me! ahhh shoot, I unlocked it!
Chris: "uh... thanks, heh"

okay, I'm not that good at putting events into text but I tried, I read it and it doesnt sound as funny

that's pretty much my day though, at least I know that the Gateway kids are always there to help someone else out in need, right?

essentially, it was a small prank on someone we knew that blew up into this huge fiasco of sorts as everyone tried to solve the riddle, but why
